Appearance: Goken is the oldest surviving member of his family. He has the appearance of an old man with red eyes, a very long white beard, and long eyebrows. There are many scars on his torso and head, the two most prominent being a pair of long, perpendicular scars above his right eye, left by his battle with his old student. Despite his old and frail appearance, he has a very muscular body which he only reveals when he goes to battle, something which his fellow members of the Kojin family claims is not seen too often especially outside of the family. His skin is littered with battle scars but strangely enough his wrinkles are only on his face since he is still in top physical form. Goken can also be seen with a wooden stick. It is rumored that the stick is a concealed weapon.
Apparel: He wears a black Shihakushō which comprises of a white shitagi which serves as the undergarments, a black kosode and also a black hakama trousers. Upon his feet are white foot socks and bamboo sandals. These are the normal apparel of the clan since this is attire of nobility. Being the head of the clan, he wears a white Haori with the number 1 kanji symbol in black upon its back. Goken does not place his arms within the sleeves of the Haori but simply drapes it over his shoulders. To keep his beard under check, he ties a purple lace and crosses it with itself.

Life Goal: To bring the world to law and order. To make the enemies of the Land of Trees and the Senju submit to the laws of the land and the clans of his land. To show the world that with the right training and body conditioning, age is but a number. Finally to show the world the real power of his God Agni and be his representative on Earth.
Quirks: Goken may appear to have his eyes closed when speaking to someone. With his wooden cane, he hits his cane on the ground to gain attention of others or to quell arguements much like how a judge uses a gavel. Because of his age, he can sometimes fall asleep while in mid sentence, especially if he does not feel threatened. His Quote is "There is no Mercy for those who obstruct Justice."

3. He hates those with power who refuse to do anything about protecting th weak that are under their charge.
   
4. He hates laziness. In his opinion, a lazy person is weak and useless and must be done away with.
   
5. He hates anyone with a God complex and targets people like that to put their "Godship" to the test.
   

Loyalties: Goken is fiercely loyal to the Senju clan and the people that reside within the Land of Trees. He is of course loyal to his family and people and has no problem slaying deviant members of his nation. Law breakers would not be tolerated on any level in society.
Personality: Kojin Goken is the 2nd head of the noble Kojin family, one of the great noble families in The Land of Trees. As such, Goken acts in an aristocratic manner — he seems always serene and apathetic towards other people. He is also extremely calm, and is noticeably quiet, rarely speaking unless to make his intentions known or make a point. He is noted at being extremely patient and not given to rash actions and disdains it as a flaw in others. He believes that power must be respected and mastered and that those incapable of knowing their own heart are not capable of mastery of their own power.

Goken is a very perceptive man and is fully aware of the limits of his abilities and can see the skill or potential in others and what they must do to attain that fullness of that potential. Goken strongly believes in law and order. As the head of one of the great noble clans and as a shinobi in the Land of Trees, he always works hard for a peaceful society. He would sooner work within the confines of the system than engage in actions that would disrupt the balance of law, even if he believes that something is unjust or wrong.

Biography:

Not much is known about Goken before he became a Genin. He was known as the eldest Genin of his time. Being in his seventies when he was in the ninja academy. He belong to a large family of non shinobi parents and non in his family were ever shinobi. As family head, he decided it would be best to place his family under the protection of the Senju and join them to keep peace and balance in his nation. He felt awkward being at the academy and being older than everyone else there. But he pushed past that eventually. Goken always stood up for what was right and always did what he could in his limited power to defend others who are deserving.

It was at the height of his reign, right after he became Jounin at the age of eighty, Goken encountered an entity. He too was confused by what he saw because he was not sure if what he saw was in fact real or not. The Entity called itself Agni. Agni had six arms and was adorned with many jewels of precious stone and pearls while he rode upon a ram. He is shown with one to three heads, is typically red-complexioned, with a characteristic dramatic halo of flames leaping upwards from his crown. He is shown as a strong looking man, with a long beard, with a large belly because he eats everything offered into his flames, with golden brown hair, eyes and mustache to match the color of fire.

Goken was awestruck when he encountered Agni. The God reassured him that he was not here to harm him but has been observing him most of his life and wanted a representative of his divine order on Earth. If Goken agrees then Agni will manifest into a sword and Goken would have access to his power. Agni made the sword and entered its confines. Realizing living in a sword is uncomfortable, he returned to heaven to find a way to make his inhabitance of a sword palatable.

Goken felt abandoned and quickly returned to his normal way of life as a shinobi. Agni was replaced by his wooden walking stick. Goken everyday longs for the day for his Lord and savior to return.
